The philosophy of the Yale New Haven Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia is to provide society with highly competent nurse anesthesia practitioners. Our faculty shows a deep commitment to the education of nurse anesthesia practitioners, openly sharing their expertise with our students. The faculty consists of certified registered nurse anesthetists, physician anesthesiologists, surgeons, allied health practitioners and professors. Our objective is to provide an educational and clinical experience that will enable the student, after completion of the program, to provide safe, comprehensive and compassionate anesthetic care to the wide variety of clinical situations that arise in the current practice of anesthesia.
